There are many great hotels in Sharm el Sheikh hotels in which to stay, hotels such as the 600 room Grand Rotana Resort and Spa or the Coral Beach Rotan Resort-Tiran, a luxury resort located on the shores of the Red Sea, near the reef at Hurghada. It's a shame if you don't know how to scuba dive, but you can learn! There are many centers in Sharm el Sheikh that offer diving certification, and you can take your new skills to some of the "gentler" diving locations and explore some of the fascinating marine life, and build up your skill until you're ready to tackle Shark Reef, or one of the numerous drop-offs or shipwrecks. They won't force you into the water, and you're more than welcome to relax by the shores and enjoy the sunshine, or if you're up for it, maybe a trip into the desert, or out to Jordan to see the ancient city of Petra. Camel rides, dune buggies, desert safaris, or boat trips--it doesn't matter how you spend your time in Sharm el Sheikh, you're going to enjoy every minute of it. |
