Hi Joe Kim, I have been working in South Korea for the past 6 months and I hate to say that your article about working in South Korea is a fairly accurate representation of what I have experienced so far. Since I got here I have felt constantly belitled, disrespected or just blatantly ignored. Not to mention the fact that white woman seem to be considered prostitutes so are continually followed, propositioned and hassled (mostly by drunk old men which isn't fun!). I have to add that this is only my experience and I 've met a few people out here who really love it (though they do all seem to be men), also I am in a small town which hasn't seen many white people so I think the negative issues are increased.
